Microscopic hair transplant involves the grafting of thousands of hair follicles from the back of the head and the sides to be transplanted to the bald affected areas mostly the frontal area. In one form thin strands of hair are extracted form the back where the tiny wound is sewn up. The individual pieces are the dissected microscopically and stored in a solution waiting transplanting. Small tiny incisions are made on the affected area and after transplanting are left to heal on their own in about a week. This called follicle unit transplant.

In the other type of hair transplants grafting is down in the same areas as the above.

The follicle acquisition involves microscopic incisions to get to the follicle of the hair. The procedure is painless and could take some hours. The follicles are then microscopically transplanted to the scalp. One follicle can consist of four to five hair pieces.

The two mentioned methods take utmost one day and the patient is free to go home in the evening. The hair restoration if perfectly done by experts gives the best result. The restored hair is visible in even one week but takes some months before it reaches the other hairs height.

The hair transplant before and after will show great difference in the person’s appearance and could enhance it greatly. The healing is painless and one is able to resume personal businesses the next day. But the choice of hair product is crucial not to interfere with the growth of the new and old hair.
